What is my doctor's intention on my seizure?

Thu, 12/08/2016 - 05:29
I don't know what exactly my seizure type is, but I think it has environmental factor after living in the U.S., maybe it's because I drank a lot after getting into college, maybe I bumped into the wall and that caused it or maybe I consumed too much cold medication when I had cold and I didn't know how to handle it. I don't know, but I got seizure, and the point is: I had seizure for 4 years now. And I started out with one tiny trileptal. But every single time I have seizure, the only thing doctor does is increase medication and add medication. I had no seizure for 10 months, had seizure again. Increased medication. Then, I had seizure again in about 8 months, then doctor increased medication. Strange thing is. They increased medication, but I am now having seizure every month (had it a month ago and now again). What is going on? Is this so called medication actually helping me? Should I listen to my doctor when all he says is increase medication? When I ask him if its okay, all he says is, "Don't worry. It's gonna stop." Ummm... But it's not?
