What can I do?

Sat, 05/20/2017 - 13:15
Hello everyone. Hope the day is treating you all well. Currently I'm taking five different medications but none of them work anymore. My doctor keeps telling me to take them and just changes the dosages on them. My seizure frequency hasn't improved at all and just gets worse. I can't really do anything nowadays. I've fallen down a lot because of seizures. Just recently I fell down in my living room from a seizure and broke four ribs on my left side. This is my fourth time breaking ribs by the way. Anyway I'm wondering what I should do at this point. If anyone has any advice I'd like to hear it.

Go to a new neurologist. The medications you're taking isn't working and it is affecting your health even worse.

Yes I agree. You need to see a new neurologist. I was in many different medications and then they stop working for me (I would call this my honeymoon phase) and then my doctor would do the same and just increase it. I then switched doctors-I chose to travel much further but am 100% happier and have notice that I am not just another number that my doctor cares and is actually concerned about my health!
