was this a seizure?

Sun, 09/10/2006 - 23:13
My seizures are usually pretty clear to me - deja vu followed by memory loss and speech difficulty. Today I had a situation, in a conversation, where I could not remember a word (grafitti) for the life of me. The closest I could get was calligraphy and then out of desperation I said "you know when people write on walls" and felt like an idiot. Finally, after what felt like a very long, ackward time, I got graffiti. This was followed by a bit of nerves and a slight headache that lasted a couple of hours. Also just slow to the draw in other conversations. Was it nerves, anxiety, or a seizure?

Hi coopernicus, I do that alot. It's become a game around the house to find the word I'm looking for. Which is okay except when I'm on the phone or elsewhere. I'm not sure which it is anymore, it happens so often, but it does happen with a simple partial too. Here is the link, look under Psychic Seizure: http://www.epilepsy.com/epilepsy/seizure_simplepartial.html Hope this helps! -Spiz
