Hi Sam, I'm sorry to hear about your lack of activity! It took a while for my seizures to kick in during the veeg. After a couple of days, I felt a sp a couple of times, but they didn't pick up on it. I was very frustrated with myself...I remember. I went off my phenobarb completely, on day 4. On night 5, I deprived myself of sleep. The sleep deprivation was the key for me and I finally had my seizures when them to view for themselves. I now know, since surgery, that my focus was deep (part of the hippocampus and outward)...so that's probably why those first sp's weren't picked up on. I only know that because when I had intracranial monitoring, before the focus was removed, I began status epilepticus as sp's. Those first sp's, I could "feel" coming on. My nurse was with me 24/7, and I told her it was happening. A moment or two later, she got a call, from those watching brain scans (in another dept) that I was having a seizure. Anywho...It is possible that you did have seizure activity, but it is deep inside the brain. I can understand your frustration, sorry! ((hugs)) Heather :)

Thanks so much Heather. I knew this was a possibility, but I was having such frequent activity beforehand that it really boggles the mind. (no pun intended) Well, onward and upward, I guess. Sam

Me too!!!! 8 days with out any that showed. 8 long days. I had them until 2 days before then they stopped. Then, I didn't really have any for another week after that. They still think I have SPS but they also said it could be psychgenic. They can't tell cause I didn't have any for them to view. Whatever. I just wish they had happenned in the 8 long days. Sorry to hear the same thing happened to you. The nurses did tell me it is not uncommon. My seizures are cyclical. The next time they gt bad I will just go back for testing. That will make them stop.
