Try this . . .

I saw an article that said dolphins "sleep" one side of the brain then switch and sleep the other side. Supposedly this helps them stay alert for sharks and cover lots of territory in a short time. I'm curious if this might help the brain keep synchronized or stay fresh so here it is . . . Wear an eyepatch over one eye and an earplug on the same side of the face. There are two ways you can try this. One is to do it for a long period of 2-8 hours allowing that side of your brain to get a good rest. Another perspective, I saw elsewhere that we tend to breath through one side of our nose for 15-30 minutes then switch. I guess this might coincide with natural fluctuations in how much we are using one hemisphere or the other. So use a finger to alternately stop up your nostrils and figure out which you are breathing through, wear the patch on the side you are not breathing through. Check once in a while snd switch sides as needed. If you plan on trying it reply and reply again with results after a few days. To be extra safe please don't do this when you will be driving a car, etc.
