Transportation services

Tue, 07/01/2014 - 12:25

I saw my doctor last, and she was telling me that there were some transportation services for persons with epilepsy. She did not have any cards or pamphlets about them at the time. So I searched the web for any and all I can find were some for physcally disabled and the elderly. Both of which I do not meet the criteria. I leave outside of the Philadelphia region, does anyone know if there are any. Thanks.

Check with the rail or bus

Check with the rail or bus system and they can tell you where you need to go. I know that here in Dallas they require a form from SS which can be filled out. Your neurologist might also know which offices would have forms and where to get them

no problem It took me time to find out what they needed but it took no time after I showed hte form to DART. I had the picture card and a monthly pass which I get monthly. I do have to get another card with a pic on it yearly but they too are free after the first one.
