Hello Everyone, I am a new member about 1 week and a day according to my member information :) I find this site very educational and helpful. I know that Epilepsy becomes a big part of our lives and every day can be a struggle physically or emotionally. Dealing with this disorder and everything else that is going on in our lives can be pretty overwhelming at times. I would like to take the time to focus on the better things going on in my life and hope you share your's to. My Thankful List: *God (the best friend you could ever have!) *My Wonderful Husband of 3 1/2 years! *Friend's & Family *My Home *My 2 Cats *My Job *My Past (all the up's & down's) *My Future (the things yet to come) *My Health (it could always be worse) I am thankful for every struggle, every trial that I have had to endure thus far, to find my way to where I am today. I am proud to be the person that I have become. It's been very hard for me in the past. I never could understand why all bad things happened to me. I just needed a break from it all. Prayer was my outlet and God gave me the ability to express my feelings through poetry. I was amazed at some of the uplifting poems that I could write when I felt my world was falling apart. I knew that God was with me and that he was speaking to me through my poetry. He has never failed me. If you look to the world to solve your problems, you are going to have bigger problems. Thank you for letting me express myself and I hope you do the same.

Thanks for the reminder, too often people focus on the negative aspects of life and we forget the positive one.
