Talking Seizures?

Tue, 01/17/2017 - 17:54
Hi - I'm pretty new to having seizures, recently diagnosed with partial complex seizures, secondarily generalized. They started about a year ago, and have changed in how I experience them. Problem is, recently I am told that I am talking and I don't know I'm talking! On one occasion, a visit had ended, and the couple had gotten up to leave. They said that I restarted the whole visit again, and they didn't know what to do, so they sat back down and I was making sense - it just didn't make sense that everything had started over! I know other times I have remained in the ballpark as far as topic, but I knew I was seizing. I also understand how it has happened that I say things that don't make sense or mumble during a seizure. But I really don't understand how I could keep talking and making sense during a seizure. Has this happened to you or someone you know? It seems so crazy. Thank you for any assistance!
