Support?
Sun, 06/28/2015 - 18:30Where do you get support? I am feeling very frustrated with my brain and I wish I had someone to talk to about it. I was dx'ed about 3 years ago and I'm still struggling with seizures. I've tried a few different meds without success. I just started on Gabapentin about two months ago and increased dosage this week, but sz continue. It's frustrating and it's lonely. I guess I'm just wondering how all of you get through the emotional side of things- who gives you support as you go through this illness?
There are epilepsy

There are epilepsy foundations for specific regions (normally by state) that would be a great place to start looking for someone who can listen, or even set you up with a group of people who are in the same position as you. Just shoot them an email or call them up and they will most definitely help you. Best of luck.
