Sun & Heat Bad Friends

Are you like me? That is, when we're in the midst of these sky-high temperature days of July and August, do your seizures increase? Are you short of temper? Headaches to deal with daily? For me, the answer is "yes". There's nothing that brings on a throbbing headache quicker in this "E man" than bright sun and the humidity of NYC. As much as I like to see streets free of ice and snow, you can keep the heat and burning sunshine! How does it affect you? My air conditioner is on, so I can sit and read as much as you'd like to put down! Now go ahead...

Not for me, exactly the opposite. I went from controlled seizures in the south west to uncontrolled seizures which my Dr saw the only way to control them was surgery back in the north east. I'm back out south west and have had that surgery. Moving back to cold weather in the north east is probably the worst thing I ever did for my Epilepsy. If I can help it, I'm never going to live in cold weather again.
