SUDEP and Parameters

Wed, 08/31/2016 - 00:36
Hello My daughter has refractive epilepsy with complex partials seizures. Her manifestations could be just blinking of eyes, no jerking or any other sort of movements which means most SUDEP devices will not be applicable to her. I am looking for inputs on which parameters are to be monitored in general for example pulse rate and oxygen content. Could someone please help me list these parameters or refer me to someone who can list me these parameters. Thanks Karbhari

There are no SUDEP devices that I know ofAs for warning systems they too are systematic. I say that because each persons seizure is different. It may be the same type of epilepsy and same type of seizure but it is different. Your daughter can have a complex partial seizure tomorrow and it may have different thigs in it then the one she had last week.
