Strange nocturnal happenings

Hi I've posted here before but forgot my password like a twit so had to re-register....but hopefully looking for people's experiences about nocturnal seizures. Have searched through some posts but not been able to find much. Quick story I had 3 tonic clonics last year along with some 'funny turns' and have been on lamotrigine with no further recognisable seizures BUT I've been waking up with some unexplained stuff: scratches, bumps on head and one time my right arm bent awkwardly at my side pointing towards my back. I've been under quite a lot of stress over past few months so the sleep patterns all over the place and even though that's never been a trigger before I'm keeping an eye on it. I know it's not tonic clonics as I'm functional in the morning, plus no fuzzy head/bitten tongue/soreness. I'm ringing my neurologist after the weekend but would really appreciate hearing from people with nocturnal seizures and what signs their aware of, thanks! Hope your all keeping well

I Read your post and know what you are talking about. I haven't had a nocturnal seizure thet I know of. However I have had diffrent seizzures after most were being controlled.. Yes call your neurologist and discuss this issue with him. I always called Doc and after telling him what had happened we came up with procedures needed to control them. If your dosage hasn't been adjusted then that might be all that is needed and it can be done in that calls followed by a visit 3-6 months later to see how the dosage cahnge is doing.I hope this helpsJoe
