Someone please help me!!

For almost 7 months I've been having "tremors". At first they started in my legs but now they are moving up. I've been to the doctor but they have no idea. I've had multiple blood panels done, a CAT scan of my head, and an EEG. All came back completely normal. They doctors pretty much shrugged their shoulders and told me there was nothing wrong and that I should just wait for them to change. I'm tired of the unknown. And I'm so nervous that there is actually something wrong.

You posted doctors. Were they

You posted doctors. Were they specialists? If not then find a neurologist that specializes in epilepsy. Many people have had tests done and they came back normal. I myself had 20-25 different EEG's that came back normal. All of them were normal everyday EEG's. The EEG that came back with seizure activity (abnormalities ie spikes or waves} was one in which I fell asleep in. They have longer EEG's and sleep deprived EEG's which do find more. I do hope you get the assistance you need Joe

Mereloaded did have

Mereloaded did have information. There are times when the area in the brain is deeper then the electrodes can pick up so those will not show up on a regular EEG. A specialist for the EEG gives the EEG and can read it. The question was what were they checking for since there are a lot of things EEG's are used for and neurologists know that. My neurologists have been associated with each other since I came to Dallas in 1970. They handles anything that came from the central nervous system back then. It wasn't until the mid 80's that neurologists started going into specialties. One of the best I had introduced me to a new one in 95 since he specialized in Parkinson's. Since then all of my neurologists are specialists in epilepsy. As Mereloaded posted tremors can come from several things. I have a friend that has tremors and his hands shake from time to time. Tremors can be in other areas of the body. They do have medications for them too. Look it up use google or bing tremors is all you need to type in
