Smells

Thu, 11/03/2016 - 21:38
At least 3-5x a month I smell a different smell, gasoline, vomit, exhaust fumes, garbage, pine & mold. I don't have epilepsy, I do have Bells Palsy for life & my neurologist just ignores my concerns. The smells last a week & then I'm back to normal. I have been dealing with this for about 7 years. Could this be serious or is my doctor right?

If the doctor is your regular

If the doctor is your regular doc then get them to refer you do a neurologist that specializes in epilepsy. It could be a seizure since studies show that Bell's palsy is found among people with Epilepsy. So the reverse can be found too. Hopefully you will find a neurologist like Doc. He listened before really discussing issues. In other words he wanted to know more and took in your information and went thru it before trying to come up with a diagnosis.I hope this helpsJoe
