Slamming Migraines/Headaches

Mon, 03/30/2015 - 15:18

Hello-I really need to know whether if anyone else is experiencing terrible, slamming headaches/migraines every day like myself.  As I have explained in other threads, I typically have these horrible migraines/headaches pretty much everyday, and they last hours, sometimes over 12 hours.  They are so bad that it feels like someone is poking my eyes in, and I hear this constant ringing in both ears.  Another thing is that it feels like the throbbing is occuring around both ears to the top side of the head, and the front as well.  Well, basically the whole head.  And lastly, it is accompanied by that static feeling going off.  I do have my appointment with the epilepsy doctor coming up very soon, but wanted to get feedback from other folks on here.  I am fairly new to all of this, and it is driving me nuts.  It feels like the inner parts of my ears are really soar.  Can anyone relate and let me know if they have similar symptoms?  I am worried that I might have some other bad neuro issue that caused the seizures.  I am going to ask if they can recommend another study, an MRI as opposed to a CAT scan.  The CAT scan was done at the hospital when I was in the ICU, so I think that having an independant MRI study would be better... Currents meds include Carbamazepine 200 mg every 12 hours and tylenol when needed.  Thanks
