Simple seizures in clusters

Sun, 06/26/2016 - 15:24
Hey All. I was diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy after I started having tonic clonic seizures two years ago, since then I've been put on lamotrigine (150mg in the day, 50mg at night) the grand mals have stopped but I still experience ALOT of simple partial seizures, like clusters at a time, every 10-5 mins I'll get a wave of anxiety, butterflies, dizziness, confusion, etc....everyday, especially in the morning and evening. Makes me feel like I'm losing my mind some days. Does anyone else get this? Is this normal? I've told my doctor more than once but he doesn't ever seem too concerned.

I have them in clusters too

I have them in clusters too they have the same pattern morning and night I also have them during the day but they are farther apart. I don't deal with your symptoms very much. I do get nauseous burping a lot of bloating excessive wind diarrhea and stabbing and burning pains in my stomach area. So I get it. Ask your doctor what things are. Get a real answer not don't worry about it. Make a list of your  complaints as questions and wright down the answers. If you don't like the Neuro you have get another one. I read that a patient had 10 seconds before the doctor  interrupts you. I take lamitical and you are on a low dose. The big ones come from having to many clusters of the simple partial I have been doing, I suggest that for you. Also do not drink on lamitical ,never never never!
