She stops breathing

My 18 year old daughter has grand mal seizures and after the shaking part of the seizure, she stops breathing for 15-20 seconds. Has anyone else experienced this and how do you handle it? Lisa

My four year old did the same thing during her grand mal seizures. Our doctor said that she would eventually breath even though it is scary for us to see. I gave her mouth to mouth to give her some oxygen, but she never foamed at the mouth.
