Seriously, what is this?

Does anyone else ever wake up feeling like they've been kicked in the back and stomach? Feeling as though they've had an electric shock, then when you come round followed by twitching leg? I really don't know if these are seizures or not. I don't want to offend anyone but GPs in the UK are next to useless, they really don't know anything about E - this would explain why it's taken 14 months to diagnose me - and yes I realise I'm lucky to actually have a diagnosis but I'm still not convinced. My hideous throwing up for 3 days and not being able to move due to paralysis migraines started when I was 17. At age 21 I had toxic shock syndrome followed by ME. As my GP at the time said he thought ME was all in the mind I knew I was on to a winner! I just want to know if the symptoms I'm having are actually related to E as I can't get a straight answer from my Doctors and it's driving me to distraction! Thanks in advance!
