Seizure Dogs?

Sat, 06/16/2007 - 19:18
Does anyone know anything about seizure dogs? I read an article on it, but I don't know anything about them. I live in the city and have to cross busy intersections (I walk everywhere), it scares me since the drivers have no regards for pedestrians. I risk getting hit even if I DON'T have a seizure. Plus my husband is such a sound sleeper that when I am active in my sleep he doesn't wake up. In the mornings I have knee, shoulder and hip injuries and he has bruises. I just thought I might look into it, depending on what the doctor says next week.

I've read up on seizure dogs, I think it's amazing how they can be trained. I also know as the above posted mentioned, the waiting list is endless to get one and they have very strict criteria to whom they give the dogs to.
