Seizure and driving in WA state

Tue, 05/02/2006 - 13:31
I have only had 1 seizure (1 in my whole life) and that was in November and I'm hitting my 6 month mark this month. I have been doing everything my doctors say and am taking antiseizure meds. Anyone know the details if any paperwork has to be filed with the DOL or anything so that I can drive legally again? I don't believe my neurologist has reported me to the DOL and I have receive no notification that my license has been taken away.

My husband had one seizure(at age 64) and had the brain MRI and EEg that were negative. We know that the seizure was caused by a drug he no longer takes(Losartan) and they stilll won't let him drive. He did not go on anti-seizure meds and hasn't had any sign of seizure for 3 1/2 months.

I can't drive until October (if I don't have one between now and then). If you still have your license I don't think you have to do anything except go! Congrats on being able to drive!
