Seems dead on here- where do you go for support?

Wed, 07/08/2015 - 21:45

Does it seem to anybody else that epilepsy.com is not exactly buzzing with posts and comments in the community message boards? (Sometimes it can go days without a new post from somebody, and there are multiple posts with no comments.)

Where online do you go for support and to ask epilepsy related questions to a community?  Is there another website that more people use? Or is it kind of dead on here for the fact that epilepsy is not as common as I would like to think?

I personally find it more helpful to post in a community message board type format, where you can remain semi-anonymous, rather than social media (facebook) because the reality is that no matter how respectable it is to be 100% out in the open about my epilepsy, I DON'T want everybody knowing- (I have had epilepsy-related trouble with employers in the past, and people talk.)
