Screaming during a seizure???
Wed, 01/12/2005 - 16:02I'm just wondering, apparently I scream while having a seizure, enough so that someone could think I was being murdered... Is this normal? I'd really like to know.

Hello,thank you for your response. Yes, I am able to speak afterwards, I don't know if I make much sense or not, but I can talk. I also tend to sleep for long periods. Hope you're having a good week.

Hi faecanuck,Dayna here, I have heard that when I try to fight off my seizure-that is when I have a real bad one and usually I make more noise. It is when I am coming out of being unconsciouss- at this point I can start to hear people calling me- but I can't respond back- that takes about 5 more minutes. All He*l breaks loose if I am disturbed during a seizure.

Hi,I have been told that I when I had seizures outside that I made a lot of noise...I fell and hit the cement. My husband thought one of the dogs was hurt...and that was when he found me laying between the 2 Dogs. When I fell in the front yard I am not sure if I screamed or not. I came to with my family all around me. When I had a seizure in the hospital I guess I must have screamed again because I was surrounded when I came to...and I couldn't speak. They said I must be in terrible pain from the noise I was making. Are you able to speak afterwards?
