same schedule

After having a seizure in front of my friends, my best friend researched it like she was just diagnosed. She read that keeping a schedule decreases seizures. Is this true? Because if it is I'll have a schedule in no time

No that is not true. But it is good to keep a schedule and making your life more simple and not so hectic will help your seizures too. Lisa http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/epilepsyapproach1/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/epilepsyapproach/ http://www.sleep-safe.co.uk/id90.htm

I find that keeping a regular sleeping schedule helps a lot. I also find that less stress helps a lot. I am less stressed if I have a regular and easy rhythm to my life. This could be called a good "schedule". On the other hand, if you're schedule is regular, but really exhausting and stressful, it can do a lot of harm.

I agree with Matthew : a regular sleeping schedule does help a lot.Keeping things simple to alleviate stress helps as well. :)
