Request to my doctor
Wed, 09/06/2006 - 12:481. Please do not call my episodes "panic attacks" unless they are found to be such.
2. Please do not prescribe me medication that not only will not help me, but might actually hurt me.
3. Please do not lose my MRI/CT films.
4. Please do not leave my results of an MRI (normal) on my answering machine and close with "If you have any further questions..." as if I'd actually gotten ANY answers.
5. Please do not go to lunch before calling me back when I am trying to decide if I should go to the emergency room because I can't function as a result of repetitive seizures.
6. Please do not tell me that because one EEG (20 minutes long) was normal that I do not have seizures.
7. Please do not have your receptionist call me to tell me what you prescribing me when I called you to specifically request you NOT to prescribe that drug.
8. Please do not wonder why I get upset when I tell you I need to be seen this week and you try to give me an appointment NEXT week.
Okay...I'm done for now.

LOL.... at least you still have your sense of humour... :) I hope you get treated better in the future! Maybe you should REALLY send this along... if he can find the time to read it! Take care, Essie
