Repetative jerking in my sleep

Sun, 05/13/2007 - 13:18
Hi, Last night I woke up because my left hand was slapping my face. After I awoke it did it a few more times than stopped. I quickly fell back to sleep. I have both simple and complex partials and get small jerks every day, (arm, finger, leg, upper body and arms jerking to the left) usually just one at a time, but nothing like this. Are these jerks something I should tell my Neuro about or is it just no big deal? I have woken up in the past with scratches on my face and never knew why. I actually have scars from them. I'm new to this site and any help would be greatly appreciated. What happened last night, and the body jerk the other night, has me a little worried. Thank you, Sausha
