Recording Seizures in sleep - UK person new to Seizures
Wed, 04/13/2016 - 06:15Hi can anyone advise about a camera with recording capability, night vision so I can review my sleep to check if I'm continuing to have seizures in my sleep?
I took part in a sleep study due to unusual experiences while awake and abnormal tiredness. I had a seizure during the study. It took them 3 months to inform me. Recently started Tegretol after Epilim didn't agree with me. I think I may still be having seizures but only way to know is recording my sleep.
I'm on ESA review rate which is £75 or less a week so don't have a big budget. There are literally thousands of night vision cameras on Amazon but not clear if they do the job. One possible has a £8 monthly subscription so not much use on a tight budget. All I want is a camera that will record to a sd card or usb memory stick which I can review on fast forward on my tv to check if anything happens. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks Paul

You could ask your neurologist about testing for this. You would be hospitalized and have EEG wiring which would show not only if you're having seizures but also where they start in your brain. When you were in the study you probably had this and if I were you I'd ask my neurologist to try this again.

Hi Joe thanks for the reply. Yes there are lots of baby monitors on the market but they seem mainly to be live feed and not offer record and review.
