Really Weird Partial Seizure
Sat, 11/19/2016 - 23:32I had a really weird partial seizure night before last. First a little history on how mine usually go: get deja vu, feel weird, sometimes get confused, but generally remember it all. This time was way different, and I mean waaaaaaaaay different! I was drinking,heavily (bad, I know, it never bothered me before though). It was out of town and I was in our motel room. Up until yesterday evening I didn't recall the seizure. My mom said I went in the bathroom and didn't come back for a while, so she looked in and found me squatting on the floor with a odd look on my face, and I was talking crazy. She helped me up and I walked back into the main area of the room. My grandmother was with us and I took the end of her walker and was rolling it side to side looking confused and saying "what". Then when I got sat down I took a purse and just zipped it back and forth while loudly talking gibberish. Woke up the next morning and remembered nothing at all of that. I remember getting into the room, but nothing else. Yesterday I finally, though very hazy, remember being in the bathroom and having the aura with deja vu and a fearful feeling. But then nothing. My mom has seen me very drunk before, and she said it didn't look like that. She said when she saw me in the bathroom I looked dazed, kind of like I wasn't there. Just staring straight forward. This scared the crap out of me! I've never had one that long and that severe before. Has anyone experienced anything like that with a partial seizure? Or just suddenly have on that was really bad like that? I haven't had a bad one (at least what is "bad" for me in over a year, lately I just have more of an aura) I thought, I just had too much to drink, but now I know it was more than just that. Needless to say, I won't be drinking for a while, and when/if I do so again it will be limited! Never had alcohol trigger one, but I'm not risking it again. Oh yeah, I know I had a milder partial earlier that evening, before drinking. Got deja-vu then vomited but felt fine a few minutes later.
