Hi and Welcome Your post is interesting. Petie mal seizures are the slightest seizures and most people would not wake up having them. Grand mal are the worst and in those you would lose conciousness. The medications you posted are good medication and they do help control seizures. What was not posted was the dosages you take. Have you checked all the different kinds of seizures a person can have? Have you read about kind of seizures you can have with the type of epilepsy you have? If you are able to think about the length of time in each seizzure abd they are seconds long and combining those seconds the total length is less then a minute your seizure was not petite mal and grand mal. I have grand mal, petite mal and focal motor epilepsy. In those types of seizures I can have the worst the slightest and many between them.  What I think you had might have been a seizure that was one seizure or a cluster of seizures (different from cluster seizures). A person can have back to back seizures and I do from time to time so I know about them. What yo umay have had was a seixure that was a pertial seizure which started to generalize but stopped before it completely generalized. But then I am not a neurologist. Call your neurologist and ask this question because he knows the different kinds of seizures you can have. By giving him this information he can help you by comming up with dosages which can be increased or decreased. I say that because too much medication is just as bad as not enough. Medications created to stop seizures can also cause them. If your medications are to be taken 2 times a day  please make sure they are taken 12 hours apart unless otherwise set up by your doctor. I post that because  if taken at 7am and 10pm the house between 7pm and 10 pm your dosage is lower then the normal amount set to control them and that time period can cause breakthru seizures. I hope this helps nad you get the assistance you need. Joe
