Partial Focal that last a long time

Sat, 01/27/2007 - 02:52
I didn't think that it was un-normal but after browsing around the site I see that it is. I have partial focal seizures but they last up to an hour or sometimes two at a time. =/ I'm not on any medicine, I got allergic to it all. yes. that's right. all of them except 4. I refuse to get BRAIN SURGERY because..I don't want a part of my brain removed. That sounds so wrong to me. Is there anyone else out there like me? Please email me at theonetheyknowassorrow88@yahoo.com if so

Hey there! I have problems with my siezures too. My siezures last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Then sleep for two hours and then wake up to some more shake and bake. It is hell on my back and the right side of my body. It only affects the right side of my body and I am completely awake. The problem I am having is that not only do they last for so long, but the medications just seem to stop working after a while. They already have me on a high dose. I don't want to go higher on the doses because I know what all those chemicals are doing to my body. I sometimes feel as if the meds are worse than the condition. I was thinking of VNS, but I think it might be too risky. I will email you.
