Online forums for Non-Epileptic/Disassociative Seizures?
Mon, 03/23/2015 - 11:58Hi, my girlfriend has been suffering from Dissociative Seizures for about a year now (possibly 3 years depending on which symptoms count as part of the condition). For those who don't know, Dissociative Seizures have a range of symptoms: she has violent fits lasting a couple of minutes (often mistaken for epileptic fits), she also has episodes of fatigue, severe visual and auditory hallucinations, memory loss, and confusion. As the condition is so rare it would be useful for her (and myself) to be able to talk to other people in the same situation, but I have not been able to find anything via google.
Does anybody know of any online communities where people affected by this condition meet?
Thanks,
I would suggest yo ucheck out

I would suggest yo ucheck out the natioal seizure disorder foundation, PNES does affect many different kinds of seizure disorders. http://nationalseizuredisordersfoundation.org/pnes/ I posted a site from their web site. They are trying to get neurologists to get together to help since they are seizure disorders. I hope this helps and yes they have areas that can assist you in getting information too. Joe
