I also read about Omega 3 and brain function. The ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 should be 2:1 or 4:1. But in America the omega 6 has increased to 10:1 and 30:1. These high ratios will cause inflammation in the body and cause many illnesses.
Therefore, I started eating sardines every 3rd day and my temporal Lobe refractory seizures did decline. I've had an average of 263 hours of seizures every month for 2 years. When I started eating them every 3rd day I have noticed a 24% decline in seizures over the last 2 months.
However, I've had many hopes dashed over the years so I will closely monitor this and make sure this is a trend and not just an anomaly.
