Numbness Left Arm

Mon, 07/24/2017 - 04:09
When I had an EEG I did not have a seizure but abnormal activity on my EEG showed a seizure focus in my Left Temporal Lobe. When I have seizures though I often experience numbness in my upper arm. Does this sound like the numbness is caused by the seizure even though the numbness is on the same side? Thank you.

Kayla WatsonI want to use this opportunity to appreciate the great spell caster Lord Damguaard for helping me get back my relationship with my boyfriend when he ended and turned his back on me for quite a long period of time.I have great joy in me as i am writing this testimony about the great man called Lord Damguaard When my lover left me, and i never taught that i will be able to get him back after all he has put me through, But i am so happy that after the interference of Lord Damguaard i was able to get my lover back after 24 hours and i can proudly to say, that who ever need help in getting their lover back should contact Lord Damguaard@ Email:Lorddamguaardspelltemple@gmail.com/ website:http://dmaguaardspelltemple.webs.com . I'm guessing you haven't had

I'm guessing you haven't had a follow up appt with your neurologist yet? sounds like you are putting together some good questions to ask about. generally the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body. so if your weakness is on the left, it is probably not from the identified focus. brains are complex so there's always going to be some unusual situations, I know some children have had half their brains removed/disconnected and the remaining half of the brain could take over some of the functions. also note an EEG isn't always a complete story. the 'focus' in the EEG may not be where activity originates, just may be where the signal comes out, you may have something else going on or you may have more than one focus. do ask about an MRI if your doc doesn't bring it up.

Thank you Amy.I've had 2 MRI

Thank you Amy.I've had 2 MRI's over about 6 years and both came back fine. I was only diagnosed last year after my parents saw me having a seizure in my sleep but I had actually had odd symptoms for years. I used to get the De Ja Vu feeling, hot flashes, feeling odd and particularly the numbness in my upper left arm.
