Not Sure What's Going On With Me

Im 27. male. For probably the last 7 years I've been dealing with depression and anxiety. A long with that depression I've been dealing with what I thought (and was diagnosed with) were panic attacks. However, Everytime I've talked to other people about their panic attacks they've never really matched with mine. I don't know why I took so long to do this but I typed in all of my symptoms into Google and nothing about panic attacks came up. But temporal lobe epilepsy and auras did. I was curious if maybe I could get pointed in the right direction by maybe having other people who experience it first hand look at my symptoms When it first starts I start feeling sick to my stomach to the point where sometimes I throw up. I have an INTENSE and LONG rush or deja vu as an absolutely terrible feeling slowly covers my whole body. I also feel like I'm outside of my body after it happens - if that makes any sense. It lasts anywhere from a minute to 2 minutes. But don't seizures make people convulse and twitch? I might be a bit ignorant here and I apologize. I'm just worried because the articles also said that if left untreated it can lead to worse seizures. I've been diagnosed with anxiety and panic attacks by a therapist. Do I need to go see a doctor?

I would also recommend taking

I would also recommend taking with your GP and getting a referral to a Neurologist that specialises in epilepsy ans seizures. My story is much the same as yours, I'm 38 now and it all began when I was 30. My symptoms were much different to yours as I wa having random faint/blackout episodes that lasted anywhere from 15 - 45 seconds. Long story short, I was misdiagnosed in 2009 , had a cardiadix pacemaker implanted which reduced the effects of my seizures temporarily then referred to a neurologist who specialises in epilepsy last December who there and then in my initial consult diagnosed me with Temple Lode Epilepsy, with an EEG later that confirmed and started medication immediately.Once again I would recommend a referral to a neurologist that specialises in epilepsy firstly, and also not to jump to any conclusions prior to that referral as our stories that we share are all different, an 'Dr Google' is not always correct. See you GP and get the right specialist first.Good Luck!
