Nocturnal seizure/epilepsy

Tue, 02/28/2017 - 22:10
Hi all, I'm new to this forum and this is my first thread. I'm suspecting myself to be diagnosed with nocturnal epilepsy and here's my story. On the 9th of Jan 2017 my fiancée witness my first (or so I thought) seizure. According to her, I was having a seizure-like effect as well as making some noises. I somehow manage to bite my tongue and it bled all over my pillow. When I woke up, I didn't feel anything except feeling drowsy and light headed. I went to the hospital to do a MRI and EEG scan but found nothing. Weeks later, on the 26th of Feb 2017,i stayed over at my friend house and he witness me having my 2nd seizure. Once again I felt light headed and drowsy when I woke up. I did some research and found something common during those 2 stayovers, and that is both of the days I slept pretty late, around 2-3am. Both of the seizure happens 1-2 hr before my normal time of waking up. I'm really scared to go to sleep because these few days because I really scared to have seizures again. Can anyone give me some advice or could share any similar cases like mine? Thank you.
