Nocturnal Grand Mals

Tue, 09/26/2006 - 11:35
Anyone have advice on Nocturnal Epilepsy. I was diagnosed about 5 years ago. I'm not currently taking any meds. I exercise, try to get enough sleep, reduce stress, stay clear of alcohol. I know nothing about the seizure until my husband tells me about it usually a few hours after the seizure when I wake up on my own.

I have seizures at night. I'd much rather have them in my sleep than during the day. You should consider taking a medication for your seizures. Having less seizures will probably help you feel more secure. I don't really worry about seizures at night. I live alone, and sometimes wonder after waking up if I had one because of the way I feel. But, if I don't know, and no one else knows then what does it matter? Life goes on. Smile...it increases your face value. :)
