Hi! This is my first post as well. My name is Emmy, lots of TLE and generalized seizures from brain injury 6 years ago. Although we all have something in common, i know we have different symptoms and circumstances that make it sometimes seemingly next to impossible to deal with. I look forward to sharing, encouraging and BEING encouraged!

Hi! I'm new here too! It is nice to know we are not alone and there are people out there who have a common bond with us. I've been living with epilepsy for 35 years since I was 12 in the 7th grade. So yes I am 47 now. I work and for now have my drivers lisends. I have had 3 healthy daughters while on Dilantin and Phenobarb. Unfortuantly I have had to surrender my lisends 8 or 9 times due to gran mall seizures. I try to lift my spirits durring those times by reasurring myself I could be alot worse off. Family support and prayer has helped me the most. And I must say I like my neurologist. I have confidence in her. I have left several over the years. It means alot to have confidence in your neurologist!
