a new approach to attitude...

hi, everyone. ((hugs))! i figured that sometimes ppl just gotta consider all their resources and take advantage of all of them. like for instance, #1: friends, families, and support groups are always a good SOURCE of encouragement, and even a good SOURCE of 'backbone' when we feel like giving up. for those of you having a hard time getting any kind of government assistance, and having epilepsy on top of it, ask yourself 'where do our taxes go?' they go a lot of places, but they also go to the aid in helping ppl like us out! so, #2: our lives' henderences can be a great SOURCE in reaching the assistance we need. let's just sit a little bit and analyze what we can get out of our government. i know that sounds selfish, but ppl with dissabilities deserve it! tomorrow, i'm going to go take advantage of the opportunity to get all i can out of the government! and through all the advice given to me, and accumulating the little knowledge i've aquired about legalities, i'm not about to say anymore that seeing a doc and getting on meds no longer matter. all the red tape, all the hoops to jump through; whatever it is, it can be done. so, if any of you eve get exzausted, just come to the support group, and get your backbone back in place. (((hugs)))!!! :)

YOU GO GIRL !!! I am so proud to hear you are taking such huge important steps to get the care that you need. These programs were developed to help people with disabilities and taxes have been paid by all of us to support them, so it's time we got what we deserve from them!
