Needing advice and help

Fri, 03/17/2017 - 09:53
My BF has TBI and Post Traumatic Epilepsy. He has been seizure free for 4 years on keppra with a recent episode of 3 tonic clonic seizures. He has now been put on keppra and tegretol. I am not coping very well and am struggling to support him as I am so scared of the seizures returning and not being there to catch him if he falls. Can anyone provide help/advice please?

Relax. He doesn't need you to

Relax. He doesn't need you to catch him. People fall all the time for different reasons. You do t need to live your life "waiting for the next seizure", that is no way of living. Don't treat him like a helpless cripple, because he is not. You are not helping him by being scared of him.
