my health

Yesterday I had my first seizure while driving to work. I've had grand mal epilepsy since I was in sixth grade, I'm 27 now. Over time I've had ten seizures atleast. This medical condition is the only thing I hate about my life and something I can't get rid of. I've excepted this but each time I have a f**king seizure I hate my life. I hate that I put loved ones through the same concern and frustration. I've always been on meds. I've learned my causes very from lack of sleep, stress and anxiety, anger, depression, but yesterday I was fine. I understand the body knows more than the mind thinks it does. But damnit I hate living like this. I hate putting all my loved family and friends through this. I except this condition Gods given me but still continue to have a severely difficult time copping. Oh a short fyi. I hit a snow bank and a sidewalk that stopped my car yesterday. No one was around or hurt. No cars damaged. Broke my glasses and locked my self outside of my car while walking around my car not fully contious but I had my phone and was able to figure out how to call my mother. Now I am a little afraid to drive again. This time my epilepsy's taking a little of my freedom and I dont know how to cope exactly.

What happened while yo uwere

What happened while yo uwere driving could have been worse.  If you were diagnosed with a heart ailment rather then epilepsy would you be heating your heart ailment or be trying to take better care of it?  It sould like you have had epilepsy for about 20 years and the number of seizures would equate to a seizure about every 2 years. HMMMMM    I still have seizures and I still have to deal with them. My seizures are simple partial seizures but the numbers are different. I have a seizure every 8-14 days, Which sucks big time since I can't get a drivers license. Never had one. I have had many jobs. I have moved up many ladders at the companies I worked for. Helped raise kids and can do almost anything I want, I guess what makes us different is I take having a seizure as a blip in time. I have family members who get worried. They also treat my seizures as blips in time. A seizure last a very short period of time during our entire life time. Take those time periods away and your life would be  what???  Do you hate your life or the seizures you have during your life?? There is a difference. The difference is what you need to deal with.
