Moving objects, wicked headache

Mon, 08/14/2006 - 09:52
I have a wicked headache for at least the sixth or seventh day in a row. I also am feeling pretty nauseous. The best part, though, is the fact that I don't think I can quite see straight. It's taking a lot of effort for me to see only one of an object or to ignore the aura that surrounds an object. Is that normal? To see like a sort of weird glow around objects? I forget what normal is.

i can relate to headaches and nausea...ive gone through a couple of weeks in constant headaches but they do go away eventually. I dont know if seeing weird glows around objects is normal but ive heard of people who say they see that kinda stuff. i can also relate to the feeling that i dont remember what normal is. My abnormaility is the change in my moods and the way they change every five minutes and that isnt normal but I hate psychatrists so I live with it. I hope your headaches go away.

I've had several concussions and what you describe are potentially symptoms of one. I'd call your neuro. You might need a CT scan. Besides a concussion you might also have a sudural or epidural hematoma and none of these things do you want to mess with. Be safe, not sorry. I don't always remember I had a seizure. I still am not quite sure how that works but too often I'll see something knocked over and vaguely remember crawling to a chair to get back up, which is how I do it, or remember coming around laying on something that hurt my back and THEN I remember, I had a sz. Seems like I'd always know but I don't. Neither do the other E's in my family. That is one of the times I got a concussion BTW. I had a horrid headache, was nauseous, had visual disturbances that are too hard to describe here and after I had a CT, found out my brain was bruised, I then remembered a few days before coming around with my back on a box I kept extra computer cords in. It hurt my back is how I remembered. Gretchen

I've had an MRI and all that showed up was a 2mm cyst towards the top/back of my brain. Nothing showed up in the way of bruising or anything like that.
