Medical Marajuana

Mon, 06/29/2015 - 15:02

Hi, I have been experiencing several side effects due to seizure medication such as migraines, stress, anxiety, fogginess, dizziness, irritability and being extremely exhausted every day. I don't feel like myself and I cant help but feel like there has got to be a better way to control my seizures while eliminating such side effects.

I am wondering if any of you have switched from anti-seizure medication to medical marajuana? I've never really considered trying it until I read an article about it successfully controlling seizures while eliminating many of the side effects caused by anti-seizure medication. It's currently illegal where I live, but I'm guessing it will soon be legalized here as well. Are any of you currently using it in replacement of seizure medication? If so, is it helping? Are there many side effects? Are you happy you switched? Is it worse?? I guess I just want to know more about it because I'm strongly considering trying it. Of course I would wait until it is legal here along with consulting with my Neurologist about it, but if it has has a positive or negative impact on your life I would love some input. Thanks.

I am thinking about it. What http://www.mxbio.co/ is doing looks interesting to me where they work to find a repeatable dose for you.I have also found that doing the MAD Diet (Atkins for epilepsy) helps me with a lot of the symptoms you mentioned.
