Low Sugar causes seizures

Thu, 06/21/2007 - 10:04
I am desperate to find someone who can relate to my problem. My symptoms seem Hypoglcemic, and if I don't eat high protein foods EVERY three hours, I have a seizure. It is frustrating because lately only soda and peanut butter can delay seizures. Not Diabetic, and I am being bounced from doctors to doctors. I wake up in the mornings, have to drink juice to do simple things or I have a Petit Mal. Does anyone understand? Epileptic for 12 years.

Life4me I believe that I have found a reason for low sugar related seizures since I made my first comment. Today, after more research, I found out that Epilepsy sometimes causes chemical imbalances within the body. Time to ask my Neurological for more info about this. I am currently on 9 medications w/ VNS Implant.
