Looking for advice

Hi, I'm new on here. I'm 35 and have had epilepsy since I was 12. I have tonic clonic seizures and also absences. I have managed to control my tonic clonic fits with medication and haven't had one for 14 years. Well that was until this Christmas Day! Out of the blue I had another one. There doesn't seem to be any reason, I wasn't stressed or tired or missed medication. So what does this mean? Does it mean that it's going to start again? Is it common for fits to start again after so long? I hate the not knowing. I've never managed to stop the absences but they don't really bother me. But the big fits do. It's been so long since I had one that I thought that part of my life was over but now it seems it might be back. I hate not having any control of my body
