life really sucks right now
Wed, 01/24/2007 - 22:59life really sucks right now . I have lost my job . I have had my name dragged thru the mud by so called christians . I just feel like ending it all. There is no where to turn and the people that i love are the ones suffering the most cause of it . I have no awnsers and do not know what to do . I was abandoned as a child and do not take rejection very well. frustration never seems to end and it seems like things will never start turning around.

I was a deacon up til 2 weeks ago . The former pastor's son caused issues and they tried to put all the blame on me. I know my bible very well but i am getting no defense.I thought these people were my friends. God's people are not supposed to condone open sin.thanks for your reply

Kevin, I'm so so sorry you feel this way. I guess this is a very cliche thing to say, but tomorrow is a new day, and it really does get better. I have thought many times about ending my life, and all I came up with were my parents devastated, and I didn't have the heart to do it to them (so here I am).
I was put up for adoption as a baby, and with genetic epilepsy, I don't know if that was a factor or not. I tried to get my adoption records recently, which I discovered were burned in an arson fire, so I guess I'll never know that, either.
Remember that you have your loved ones, and people in our lives come and go, but family really is there for us, and those will be the people who support us and get us through the worst times.
I'm not going to say much on the topic of religion (being and admitting to being athiest isn't easy, and I am an outcast because of it) but it was some christians who thought we with E were posessed by the devil, and sometimes people come around, and not everyone is like that.
Just try to stay patient, and try to keep your head up, eventually it will get better (sometimes not quickly enough)although at least after a while the same problems may not seem like such a big deal anymore. Also, there are other jobs out there, and once again you have to try to keep your head up and keep looking. This one I know, I was without a job for over 6 months in Orlando, Fla. and could not imagine why I couldn't hook up with anything. I moved and now I make more money than I ever have.

I'm sorry your life sucks so much right now. Having so called Christians hurting you instead of helping you is the worst part of all this. If you had them supporting you, it may not solve the epilepsy problems and the loss of your job, but they could help you through this. Personally, I suggest praying as a Christian and I'll also pray for you and your situation. I'm not sure if you've are Christian or for how long if you are, but God has said that he would not give you more than you can bear. Just wait and pray and God will help you and answer your prayers.
