Lamotrogine rash?

Mon, 08/24/2015 - 08:11

Hi all,

Can someone please tell me how the big rash or (SJS) begins? I have been in Lamotrogine for the last 5 months and the 2 first weeks I started on Lamotrogine I Only had some itching. Then Dr. Said that wasn't to bad because it wasn't a rash and he combined with Zominaside and I had a terrible reaction, I had vomit, couldn't eat anything, my balance was bad, my eyes were so bad, I lost 17 pounds in a week, and my skin started pilling, my legs looked like an old lady and I had a bad burning sensation and my upper body started to be extra itchy! Specially in the sun. My Dr. Was in vacation at that time so after 4 days on Zonimaside nurse told me to stop taking Zonimaside because I was allergic to it. So I tried other combination with Clonazepam and didn't work very well, so now I am in combination with Depakote ( my old med). So since I started on Lamotrogine my skin was only itchy, now still super itchy! Specially in my upper body and when I scratched it gets totally red (very red!) and redness doesn't go away till a day later or two, I still having the burning sensation on my legs and the itching every day. My neurologist send me to my primary Dr. Because maybe I was allergic to something, and she only told me to use "dove soup" and oviasly it didn't work! My skin still so itchy every day and a little bit of rednes stay there for a while, but it goes away. That this means i just have a little rash or is something more?

Thank you
