Never heard about that diet. What's about that? Please give some info about that diet. I am 28 years old, and I have noticed some differentiation at my seizures, depending on my daily routine. Including what I eat (diet). So maybe it would be important. Thanks... Andreas

Hi Andreas. The Ketogenic diet is a special method of treating epilepsy (seizure disorders). The Ketogenic diet was developed in the early twentieth century when few drug treatments for epilepsy were available; until recently, it had been used only when drug therapy was ineffective.People on a Ketogenic diet have to eat mostly fatty foods, such as butter, cream, and peanut butter. Foods such as bread, pasta, fruits, and vegetables have to be severely limited, and the person's total calorie and fluid intakes are also restricted. At every meal, the food has to be measured carefully so that the right amounts of each food are given; even a slight departure from the diet can ruin its effect. Mainly used for children to a certain age. MUST be supervised by a Medical person. For a list of possible Triggers that can provoke seizures please go to my website www.epilepsy-health.com and send me an email.

Question!!! Is this site yours? What is your job? Are you a doctor Maraika??? I remind you that I am 28. I thought that if I keep in mind to improve the fat qualities and descent bread and pasta and cakes and all of that, maybe that would be good for me... Andreas
