Just back from the hospital

Sun, 08/02/2015 - 12:41

So, on Thursday night I had another seizure...my mom called my neurologist, and the neurologist told her to take me to the ER, so off we went. I was eventually admitted and spent three days in the hospital (in addition to the overnight I spent a couple weeks ago). While I was there they ran every test known to man - MRI, EEG, CAT scan, echocardiogram - fortunately everything was normal, except for a "benign EKG abnormality," so my neurologist and psychiatrist decided together to change out my Seroquel for Depakote...the Lamictal will stay the same, although they will need to monitor my blood levels. I was finally discharged last night, hooray!

I guess I was wondering what kind of luck people have had with Depakote, if any?
