Involuntary Twitches and Jerks

Wed, 01/11/2017 - 21:40
I've had epilepsy since I was about 14 and I'm 35 now. I suffer from tonic clonic seizures(seizure free for over a year) My concern is that I've always had involuntary jerks and twitches nothing big and hardly noticeable. I thought it was normal and everyone had them. I was sitting next to my husband and he felt me jerk. We started talking about it and he said it doesn't happen to him. I'm wondering if this is related to my epilepsy. Any thoughts?

myoclonic seizures could be

myoclonic seizures could be what you have been having. myoclonus means jerk. Every can have a muscle jerk from time to time. Think of having the hiccups. Muscle jerks are what they are. But muscle jerks in different parts of your body at furious times is different. If you have had tonic clonic seizures then your seizures are generalized and yes you could be having them.
