im writing a book and i need your help

hey everyone, ive decided to pursue my life's dream of writing a fiction novel and try my hardest to get it published. im writing a story about a young 23 year old woman with epilepsy and this is where i need your help. i have epilepsy (the only thing that me and the main character have in common is that, it's not an autobiography) and have a few ideas on what to gove her condition but i was wanting more input from other people that know what she is going through. for example: 1. medication (types being taken, problems with it, etc) 2. how people react when you tell them you are epileptic or how they treat you 3. maybe the more memorable episodes that you had (for instance one of mine was waking up in the hospital and being told i had one while driving) 4. injuries that you may have sustained just something or anything that you could help me out with. i'd really appreciate it thanks

I have complex partial seizures which originate in the temporal lobe. I had my first seizure as a baby and then nothing for 30 years. I had no outward signs to indicate that something was wrong, rather I came home one day and had a grand mal. Over the years I have had various experiences the first I can remember is one that occured at lunch with a firend. I was out with a friend and I could 'feel' the start of the seizure. When I 'woke up' I found my friend had left me in the cafe. Distressed I went to her office and asked why she left me. It seemed that whilst I was having the fit my hands shaked a little and I was slightly dazed but I was still able to hold a conversation. My friend told me that we discussed what each of us where going to do next - I told her I was going to stay for another coffee. We then said our goodbyes. I don't remember any of this ( which I now know is a feature of temporal lobe seizures)
