I REALLY need help and advice!

Mon, 04/09/2007 - 04:46
Hello, I have been diagnosed with epilepsy for 3 months. And for the last 2 days I feel these slight shocks. Like someone is moving my body, but I do not lose conscious(SP). It is like my hand or arm or just my head. It is only like a split second. Please help me, are these seizures? I am having them ALOT. I was wondering if I needed to talk to my dr. Tera (GENERALIZED SEIZURE DISORDER-ADULT DIAGNOSIS)

You should ask your doc about everything that concerns you. I have myoclonic jerks -- they're kind of like sudden spasms, maybe you have them too. Everyone is a little different. Find out as much as you can from your doc and from other sources, your doc may not know what is happening or may simply not volunteer information.

I agree with Basham, go to your doctor with any concerns that you have. talk to your doctor and ask these questions because if you dont ask you will never know. that is what the doctor is for... to ask so you can know how to deal with your seizures.
